Happy Flower & The Weeping Willow - They Laugh and They Cry
With music by Joshua Sitron (Dora the Explorer), this vibrant children's musical springs to life when Happy Flower must journey to the Land of Wept to rescue her pet flower, Fluffy. Along the way, she meets Weepy, a sad Weeping Willow. Happy teaches Weepy to laugh, and brings him to the Land of the Sillies where laughter and fun prevails. Through friendship and understanding, Fluffy Flower is found, the Magic Bridge is rebuilt and the two lands are united while everyone learns the importance of sharing both laughter as well as tears. Empathizing with young children about their ups and downs leads to confidence and coping skills. This show perfectly tackles tough subject matters, while focusing more on actual emotions and personal social skills.
